Robert Baldwin’s writing focuses on music, memoir, fiction, and poetry. His poetry and fiction has appeared in Poetry Quarterly, 100 Word Fiction, Utah Life, Grey Sparrow Journal, Haiku Journal, Three Line Poetry, and in the books, Getting Through: Tales of Corona and Community, and Harmonic Verse. He is the winner of the 2021 National Poetry Month Competition sponsored by the Salt Lake Community Writing Center. Thirty, his first chapbook of poetry, was published in 2022. In 2021, composer Andrew Maxfield set his poetry in a song cycle for soprano and orchestra that was premiered by the Salt Lake Symphony. He is currently working on a project with composer, John Costa, celebrating the Moab Crossing of the Colorado River.
